"Pleasant return to old hauntThis pub restaurant has been closed for a couple of years so it was a pleasant surprise to find that there was a good traditional English menu on offer, steak and ale pie, beer battered fish and super sized chips! Whitebait good too! Generous portions so no room for deserts! Friendly Landlord. There are Jazz evenings during the week. Well recommended! Only suggestion I would make, perhaps a more prominent notice to advertise that the premises is open."

Have eaten here a number of times now and have never been dissapointed. Whether you are eating or just in for a drink, Micheal the owner always makes you welcome. The place is full of charactor and we are pleased we found the place being as it is a little further afield coming from Canterbury, 1st class food and host, would recommend to anyone."
