The Temple Jazz Band 03-Dec-2018

The Temple Jazz band appeared at The George for the first time on 29th November 2018. The programme featured numbers such as The Hot Tamali Man, Davenport Blues, Everybody Loves My Baby (with guitar and drum solos), and the Landlord's favourite, Come Along, Come Along, Come Along, please with vocals and drum solo.

 



Celebrate Your Special Days including Autumn and Christmas at The George 08-Oct-2018

We provide a varied menu using locally sourced produce, cooked to order, with a choice of roasts on Sundays.

With the approach of autumn and winter, The George will be providing specials including game dishes such as Venison and Four Bird Pies, Venison Steak along with well-known favourites like Chicken and Leek Pie and Cod and Chips.
