We provide a varied menu using locally sourced produce, cooked to order, with a choice of roasts on Sundays.
With the approach of summer, The George will continue to provide specials including game dishes such as Venison, Wild Boar and Four Bird Pies and Venison Steak, along with well-known favourites like Chicken and Leek Pie and Cod and Chips.
We have introduced new and, proving very popular, dishes such as chicken breast in a cream and wild mushroom sauce. Our fish dishes include poached haddock and pan fried salmon and we have some standard and interesting vegetarian and vegan options.
We are able to cater for private functions such as shoot dinners, birthdays and anniversaries, for example.
